About Transportation / Accommodation
Q: Which airport should I fly into if I’m attending the Manteno, IL campus?
A: Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) is the closest major airport, however O’Hare International Airport (ORD) offers more flights.
Q: Is transportation provided?
A: No. We do not provide transportation. Please arrange your own travel to and from the training location.
Q: Do you have any hotel recommendations?
A: We recommend City Express By Marriott Manteno by I-57 in Manteno, IL. If you mention you are a Staking University student, you should get a discounted rate.
About Our Classes
Q: Is PPE required for these classes?
A: Specific safety gear is not required for any of our classes, but recommended if possible. A portion of the class takes place outdoors, so students should wear weather-appropriate clothing.
Q: Should I bring my own locating equipment?
A: If you attend the class at our main campus in Manteno, IL, we provide equipment, so bringing your own is optional, though we cannot guarantee the availability of the specific equipment you want to use during the class. For classes held at all other locations, we do not provide equipment and strongly recommend that you bring your own if possible.
Q: Is lunch provided?
A: Yes, lunch is provided each day of the 5 day main campus class, 2 day LCS class, and 2 day GPR class. If the final day ends early, lunch will not be served that day. We do not provide lunches for private on-site training classes. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions in advance.
About Our Certification

Q: How long is the certificate valid for?
A: Certificates are valid for TWO years from the date of certification.
Q: How do I receive my certificate after completing the test?
A: If you are attending a class at our main campus in Manteno, you will receive a physical copy of your certificate. For classes held outside of our main campus, a digital copy will be sent directly to your email address.
About Hosting Public Classes
Q: What would I need to host a class?
A: To host a class, we will require a room with a capacity for approximately 20 people. In terms of equipment, we will need a whiteboard and an electronic display to cast the class materials. Bringing in coffee for the class would be greatly appreciated!!
Q: Is there an incentive for hosting?
A: YES! You get ONE complimentary seat for the class you host! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
